Bracers and arm warmers. For many larpers and medieval market visitors, this is one of their first purchases. For others an absolute no-go. We find our arm warmers a valuable accessory for the costume. The icing on the cake to round off the overall impression. In addition to the decorative effect, they protect against bruises and unpleasant contusions in larp combat. Opinions also differ on the question of whether lacing or buckles are better. Bracers with buckles are much quicker and more comfortable to put on and take off. The constant lacing can be very annoying, especially at the beginning. Later you get used to it and it goes relatively quickly. However, the big advantage of laced bracers is that they can be adjusted much better to the arm. The lacing allows you to adjust the width of the forearm to any length. You have to decide for yourself what is more important to you.
