A rustic wooden jug made from birch wood. By leaving the bark on, each jug looks slightly different from the others. The jug should always be sealed on the inside before use, e.g. with oil, food-safe varnish (wine press or vat varnish). If you wish, we can also apply barrel pitch to the inside and seal the outside with linseed oil (last picture as an example). As we have to do this outdoors (hot barrel pitch irritates when inhaled) and are dependent on the weather, delivery is delayed by approx. 1-5 days

The jugs are made in the Ukraine. Therefore, they are currently difficult to obtain and only available with long delivery times. We therefore only sell them as long as we have some in stock. As we cannot guarantee to receive more jugs afterwards, we only accept pre-orders with reservations.
