A short half-coat made from black boiled loden and oiled leather. It is embellished with black and gold box-stitch trim and antique brass-coloured diamond-shaped fittings on the collar, as well as intricate braided trim and large diamond-shaped embroidery on the loden section. The coat fastens with a buckle and can be worn either draped diagonally over the shoulder or as a high-collared cape with the opening at the front.
